Banner Cable Pocket Fix — Tipsy Trout Taproom

The Tipsy Trout Taproom, a popular bar in Delta, ordered a banner but the cable holes came through too small to fit his cable. Sewed on reinforced pockets so the cable could run through cleanly and hang the banner as intended.

§ How I Approached It

How I approached it

Checked the cable size against the existing holes to confirm they weren't going to work, then sewed on pockets sized to fit the actual cable along the banner edge. Reinforced the stitching so the pockets could handle the weight and tension of the banner hanging under the cable.

§ The Challenge

The challenge

The banner already existed with holes that didn't match the hardware being used, so the fix had to work around what was already there rather than starting from scratch. Needed pockets strong enough to carry the banner's full weight without tearing loose from the vinyl.
