I'm Ryan. I run the shop. Every stitch comes through me.

I run Western Slope Stitchworks out of Montrose. I've been sewing for years, working on everything from outfitter canvas to hunting packs to shop upholstery.

I'm a fisherman, a hunter, and a jiu-jitsu guy, so I know what gear gets beat up and how it needs to come back. Fast turnaround, honest pricing, no upsell.

Built for the way Hotchkiss uses the outdoors

Hotchkiss gear runs working-ag and hunting-heavy, with a small but distinct food-and-wine commercial canvas thread running through it. Wall tents, ranch tarps, irrigation gear, hunting packs, and the rafts and dry bags of the North Fork river community — all common visitors to the bench. The shop's setup runs heavy canvas, webbing, and vinyl on the same machine, which means a one-trip North Fork drop-off can usually clear a whole pile.
