Customer brought in a canvas wall tent needing several upgrades for better ventilation and stove use. Added a window flap for airflow and light, cut in and reinforced a stove pipe outlet for safe wood stove venting, and replaced the worn ridge pole sleeves along the top of the tent.
Walked the tent with the customer first to map out where the window and stove pipe needed to go for best airflow and safe clearance. Worked one section at a time, cutting and reinforcing each opening before moving to the next, then finished by pulling the ridge pole sleeves off and replacing them with fresh canvas so the whole peak seam matched in strength and look.
Cutting into existing canvas for the window and stove pipe openings without weakening the surrounding material took careful planning. Each opening needed proper reinforcement so the tent stays durable through wind, weather, and heat from the stove pipe.
